Fancy a Run in 2013!!??

If you want to help fund raise, why not do a local run? Get a group of your friends together – and have fun whilst you run!!! You can choose according to your abilities, so it doesn’t have to be a daunting prospect! Use this link to check out all running events across the country in 2013. http://www.runningdiary.co.uk/go/allevents.cgi

Well, we already have people lining up to do some of 2013′s runs. The first one is Jonathan Hand doing the London Marathon later this year. If you go to http://jonhand.blogspot.co.uk/ (Jonathan Hand’s London Marathon), it will bring his page up. Jonathan is running on behalf of 2 charities and one of them is our cause. So if you feel like helping Jonathan achieve his fundraising goal, please visit his web page and donate there.

Nic’s lovely Friend Simmo is again stepping up to the mark as well with some friends to help us again! I am just waiting further details and will publish them on here so again, if you feel like showing them your support, its nice and easy for you all.

80′s Fancy Dress Disco,Warrington – 15th June

Another chance for me to get dressed up. Doesn’t take much and I’m there! This will be at Eagle Sports Club, Great Sankey in Warrington from about 7.30 onwards. The Desperate Housewives as they are so aptly named are organising this one so beware!!! It should be a great night. Interest in tickets is so great that a larger room has now had to be booked!! More details to follow very shortly.

Elvis and Buddy Holly Night, Warrington – 6th July

Another great night out at Eagle Sports in Warrington. Should be a real hoot and as Helen Kinley is organising this one, we can guarantee the food and cakes will be worth coming for on their own. More details to follow shortly as to ticket prices and times etc!!

Fancy a ride??..Coast to Coast Bike Ride 2013!!

It will kick off from Presto music’s HQ in Warrington at 9 am on Saturday 7th and  finish in Hornsea on the East coast on 8th September following the Trans Pennine Trail, a distance of 171 miles. A test of endurance but one which the guys and girls that did it last year said that they had an amazing time  ( despite being a bit saddle sore!)
